Personally I would never dish out money for an MTX I am an avid believer in Infinity, Pioneer and Pheonix Gold. For the price range ur looking at I recommend a good Pioneer sub.

Talon_66, MTX and ATX refer to manual or automatic transmisions. Not stereo equipment, have you actually heard of a brand called ATX??? ;]
Jim
93 Clear White

I just bought a used MX-6 tranny for 383 shipped. I've heard of them going for $100 bucks, but shipping is a bear. Plus you're going to need the linkages and pedals, etc. I would recommend getting the shop manual and looking at the differences between the two.
------------------
David Coleman- Moderator
1993 Mazda MX-3 GS Special Edition
Why get clear tail lights when only Geo Metros are gonna see them?

and make sure you dont (or do!) end up buying a tranny with an LSD - or you'll end up changing the driveshafts too - found this out the hard way last night as I was planning to get my baby on the road again
oh... and yes.... LSD's do exist in the G25 MTX - coool huh?
Image
