Is there any EAZY way to hard wire my cooling fan to stay on all the time when I'm Drag racing???

Well... when I bought my MX-3 the fan was on all the time. I figured out that the fan was hardwired. How? It seems like the person had used a grounded wire and grounded the fan onto the body of the car.<BR>Dean

That previous reply pretty much sums it up. A lot of the accessories controlled by the ECU are fed 12V constantly and rely on the ECU to open up an earth to complete the circuit. To hard wire something all you need to do is find the earth wire and ground it somewhere on the car. it is pretty easy to add a switch into the mod as well so you can easily revert back to normal. <BR>Joshuaj

ok this may sound retarded, but let me explain why before I tell you what I've done. My car was stolen and thrashed. Took me almost nine months to rebuild her.(because I love my car) Once I got it back on the road I had cooling problems. So I took my ac system out and wired both fans to the ac power button inside the car. My cooling fan runs normal untill I push the ac button then both fans run constant and the car runs insanly cooler!<BR> DriversClub

Naa a/c was foresaken in the name of perfomance. And it's not really to hot about 94degrees in the summer months. Some times higher.<BR>DriversClub
