My first Post...and my first MX-3! Got a few Q's...

Post by miztahfoolish »

Hey, I recently purchased a used 92 MX-3 GS manual transmission w/ 118k miles for $2,000. The car was taken cared of by the previous owner so its still running strong and also bone stock! Only problem I noticed was sometime when I take a right turn I feel a shaking or its start to vibrate underneath and goes away after the car smooths out? Does anybody had a similar problem before? Any info would be appreciated...Thanks in advance.

The shakeing/vibrateing your experiencing is most likley your CV Joint (very common problem with all mx-3's). Check both of your front CV boots for a tear/ripp in em'. It's also possible that it's your wheel bearing...
[ February 05, 2003: Message edited by: zytariuk ]
