Re: Remote start Installation on standard MX-3
well i solved my frozt problem....car cover :p 30 dlls and itsnot as hard to go start my car in the cold (not as cold inside the car) anwyho.sorry for the off topic. Those stories on the car driving off scare me..im better of starting the car by myself..plus i have that occasional car fuel flooding problem, im assuming remote start would not help.

viper remote start
I installed a viper 790xv in my manual transmition mx-3.. I used the black white wire as the saftey circuit. I ran it to the e-brake. Then in series with 2 micro switchs that go around the gear shifter. Then I ran it threw a kill swith for when I take my car to the shop. So if any one of these circuits brakes the ground supplied when the e-brake is up the car will not start. It was not that hard to. It cost me $10.00 to make this bypass.
LIFE IS A HIGHWAY I WANT TO DRIVE IT ALL NIGHT LONG!
