stock stareo removal, LOOKED @ old post

Post by M7XR3 »

Well after going through the old post on how to remove the stock stareo; typhoonk was really great at explaining most the questions. But instead of buying that pully thingy to pull out ur deck I used coat-hangers shaped like "U" so I got the drivers poped out but I can't get the passenger's the hanger is just going right through the holes not getting tipped or bounced off any clips inside any possible suggestions to what should I do would really help out.
thax everyone.

if the clip is not coming out, just start taking panels off till you can pop it out - or remove the pocket first. Whatever comes first.
sounds like the little "fins" that you are suppose to catch got bent. You got to be really sensitive with those clips, kinda like making love, got to go slow and feel around - then make it POP!!!! lol :2thumbsup:

anyway good luck :pimp:

hey respects it actually came out yesterday 2bad had to destroy the old. But now the new one has one adapter connected to the deck and I bought mazada ones that connect to the ECU. But the ecu ones are 2 adapters deck is only one. So I started maching speakers. Until I came to trouble with 4 wires from the decks panel (yellow, black, red, striped blue). On the one of the ecu's panels there is (antenna blue, pink 12 volts ignition, another 12 volts batt/memry, 2 yellow for illumination or some LCD light or something) so I don't know if u can suggest anything although the 4 wires from decks panel just got solid colours no writting.
Thanx so much.. :)
