hey i was wondering if anyone of u can help me out with information bout how to bridge a 4 channgel amp to run as 2 :) maybe a diagram or a picture, or a good explanation :) thx

4 Channel (normal)

+ -------(wire1 positive)--------
+ -------(wire2 positive)--------
- -------(wire1 negative)--------
- -------(wire2 negative)--------

4 Channel (bridged)

+ ============(wire1&2 positive)=========
+
-
- ============(wire1&2 negative)=========

mine looks more like

+ -- 1 positive
- -- 1 neg
- -- 2 neg
+ -- 2 positive

should i just do it like this?

+ ============(wire1&2 positive)=========

- ============(wire1&2 negative)=========

Hmmmm... weird set up. But yeah that should work.

now that i remember it looks exactly like this

+ -- 1 positive
- -- 1 neg ______________ channel 1&2
- -- 2 neg

Oh sorry, my first post is incorrect. That should read 2 Channel amp. And that shows how to bridge a 2 channel down to Mono/single channel. I have absolutely no clue how to bridge a 4 channel or if its at all possible. I know its not on my 4 Channel amp.

im just trying to bridge my amp so it works as a 2 channel since it has 4.

what kinda amp is it? what's the model number? cause some amps won't bridge, some do..

i cant remember the number of it... hmmm and im too lazy to go out and look at it cuz the amp is like hidden and its a huge mess lol , but its a kenwood
