Has anyone put 6x9s in the rear speaker section of the MX? How would you go about it, and/or do you have any pics.
Asking cause I got a pair I want to install; also, should I amp them for better sound. Sorry for the dumb ?, I'm not a speaker wiz.

Re: 6x9 Question
I know there is a way to put 6x9s in the stock speaker locations-there is someone on this board who has done it. I made a custom hatch cover out of 1/4 in plywood and cut holes for 6x9s. I works well because the airspace in the trunk is perfect for 6x9s. If you want details on how to make one let me know, its not too hard to do. I'm working on getting some pics up on my website.

Re: 6x9 Question
I took the cargo cover off, and reinforced it with wood (on the bottom). Then i cut out two 6x9 holes, and slipped a pair of Infinity Kappa's in . <p>If i remember, i'll post them here when i get em' developed.
