amp with power, but no sound
hey i have a Lanzar vibe 600 watt amp that i used to use. problem is, it stopped working for some reason, the wiring was ok, and the amp was still getting power. i can't see anything wrong with it... whats up with it? and, do any of yous guys wanna buy it? cheap. iv'e replaced it since, so its just taking up space...<P>dave

hook up the joint & stick a multimeter on the speaker terminals to see if you are getting any out put<P>jason

seeing as how you said it doesn't produce sound, I don't see why ppl will want to buy it... <P>and seeing as how its out of the car, I don't kow what we can do to help you w/ it. But I would look at the RCAs first.

i thought maybe this was a problem someone else might have encountered already, just looking for a quick fix. but oh well. <P>dave

just remembered this take the cover of the amp off and see if it has an internal fuse. these fuses are there to keep the amp from getting to low of an ohm load. just see if it is blown. some amps don't have this fuse. also why u are inside make sure all connections are good and make sure no caps or resistors or transistor are melted or damaged
