Re: good detmat products
When I was working on my bug I got some stuff from McMastser-Carr Supply (http://www.mcmaster.com). I don't remember the specific part number or name but I can probably find it for you if you need. Anyways, it is pretty much the same as Dynamat without a logo. It is dark gray/black with adhesive on 1 side. It cost $12.79 for a 12 square foot sheet which is a lot cheaper that dynamat. I had one sheet left over from my bug which I just put in my mx-3. I put about 8' in the trunk and 2' in each of the doors. <BR>Steve

Check alot of your local car audio places. We have a place heere that sells something very similar to dynamat. It comes in a roll for about 20 bucks.

Re: good detmat products
Ok, the stuff from McMaster-Carr Supply is item number 9709T19. They call it the Polymeric Mastic Adhesive-back dampening sheet. It's an asphalt based sheet like dynamat. It is $12.79 USD for a sheet that is 32"x54" (comes out to 12 square feet). Even though it is pretty heavy, shipping isn't bad. I believe I spent like $62 for 4 sheets and shipping from California to my place in Oregon. I don't know about them selling in Canada. You'd have to call them and find out.
