Extra Speakers??

Post by TitanMX »

I got a couple of extra speakers lying around from my old car and i wanna put them in my MX-3, they are 2 (3") speakers, and 2 (5 1/4") speakers. Anyone got any ideas? I was thinking maybe kickpanels, or a box in the trunk

there would be absolutely no point in putting 3" or 5 1/4" speakers in the trunk. If you plan to do anything with the put them in the kick panels, but unless they're high quality speakers i doubt that they'll do anything for you.

the hatch garnish is an exterior piece that replaces the GS spoiler. Do you mean the cargo cover?

The speakers are rockfords, so they're not that bad, anyone know how much it would be for kickpanels?

no one makes kickpanels for the mx3.. you'd have to customize them yourself

You can get them made easily. My friend installs stereo equipment and will do them for me for 100$. If you go to a shop I'm sure it would be more than that, don't know how much more though.
