I got the battery through final lap but optima is distributed by interstate so anyone that sells interstate should be able to get optima.
a 220 amp alt is going to be very, very expensive plus you would have to upgrade all of your wiring to at the very least 4 gauge. I think 220 amps is overkill unless you plan on putting a HUGE system in. Put it all in and go from there, if you have big dimming problems go from there.

I just got my car stereo installed, its 300-400W Amp powering my sub, not light dimming. I doubted there would be, maybe when I get my second amp and other s--- in my car it will. I have underbody neon, but there green and I have a 92 GS red. So I have to sell them off.
If I can ever get money together I wanna buy a new engine, no junkyards in my area have any engines, dumb bastards.

i have a 1850 watt system, strobes, no cap... NO DIMMING :D. Get yourself a high quality battery and make sure you're wiring supports the power and you'll be fine with a 90 watt amp.

I have a 94 mx3 4cyl without a/c, Im no professional with cars, i just turned 18 but this is what my car has : stock batt and alternator running 800 watt amp with 4 10" subs in custom box, 200 watt amp with 2 5" mids etc... and my cd player, 6 interior neon lights off the smoking lighter thing, Blue underbody neon kit (two 36" tubes and two 48" tubes) professionaly installed with transformer wired to fuse box with toggle switch on dash, i have an alarm etc...i have no idea if this helps u but ive experienced no interior lights dimming at all, ive spent whole friday n saturday nights with my stereo/neons on all night and never experienced any problems what so ever.
