I heard something about changing the engine, or tuning them down, also rumors of special lisences for driving on the right hand side. I've seen 3 different skylines in Seattle, seen 2 of those at the track, they weren't very detuned though, ran low 11's.

Japan is actually slack compared to Cali, instead, cars are limited to 280hp and are recycled much quicker. Hence the abundance of jspec motors.
The GTR is legal to drive in Canada and the US. Motorex went to great lengths to allow this to happen, imagine crash testing each year/model of Skyline just to qualify them for sale.

Yeah, not a big fan of cali's. car emissions rules, glad i moved out, they started providing parking in front of buildings next to handi-capped people for those with electronic cars. This scares me alot especially after seeing on the news of Americas future plans of the automobile, they showed a picture of a freeway full of the ugliest electronic cars all perfectly spaced, like drones, the cars know exactly how far from other cars they are and don't allow you to speed. This made me sick to my stomach, this is what happens when you get socialists as your leaders that don't have passions for cars. Internal combustion engines forever!! lol

One thing I would like to add is I think the RX7 is RWD vs. the R34 I believe is AWD.

r34 is AWD, AW steering as well, at least on the GTR model, there is also the GTS, not sure if its available for the r34, but on the r33 i believe the gts was RWD.

skyline gtrs are legal in the states through motorex.com ...they sell skylines if you need help finding one...but after getting the rx7 and the multiple orgasms from driving it :D id take the rx7...well not really orgys but yannoe what i mean. plus the skyline screams out too much compared to the rx7. i get too many looks already enough as it is.

What is with everyone's jones for the Skyline? I think there are a lot of cars out there that look better. (like the MX-3 for instance) I'd rather spend the $75,000 for the R34, and put it in my baby and make one hella fast, hella gorgeous car. My opinions. Givin the the ONLY nessans's I'd buy are the 300ZX and 350Z. They're hella sexy.
BTW, it's not motorex.com, it's skylinegtr.com.

A BMW over an R34? You can't even change your own oil in the new bimmers unless you have there special tools, at least thats true for my friend jason's, he HAS to go in and get it done by bmw mechanics to have them properly shut off the oil change light in his dash. This to me is lame, and I'm also not the biggest fan of BMW, or porsche at that, rather have the 350Z and show up those snooty porsche bastards. (Maybe not show up a carrera 4 or some others, but you know what I mean :p )

(in other words www.motorex.com is not the website for the skyline motorex company) If you type in www.skylinegtr.com it will pull up an "enter" page with Image printed at the bottom. They're not special because of their stock numbers. They're special because of the insane potential. Just like Supra's. They aren't THAT great stock, but they can handle a crazy amount of power with a stock bottom end.
