GTA: San Andreas

Post by Franko »

Buy it!
If you liked the other gta's, Youll like this one. The map is HUGE with lots of places to go offroading. The cars handle a little differently and things are generally souped up..

Ohh and YOU CAN SWIM! Finally, It only took them 5 tries but they finally made a game that you can swim in.. Its awesome.

I found a tow truck last night and you can actually tow cars with it.. A cop was after me so I hooked on to him and drove around like a mad man making him smash into every pole, person, bridge, car, anything I could find. It was awesome. Ohh and the soundtrack! Its awesome.. I dont know what kind of writers they have for it but they are brillant!
Also, it will suprise you how much swearing there is.. So much cursing in the cinematics and people on the street and just wait and see what happens when you pick up a hooker, she says thilthy things. I guess they figured the game had a mature rating anyway so might has well make it as hardcore as possible.

Anyone fly the plane yet? you can break into the airport by jumping on top of your car and jumping over the gate. I flew the cesna looking plane over las venturas and got shot down by military missles....awesome

I'm just going to wait for it on Xbox (in like 6 to 8 months)
Rockstar cant say anything about putting it on Xbox yet until the end of the year because thats when the contract ends.

Anyway, I played it at a friends house, pretty fun game, looks like they improved on alot of things except the graphics.
Vice City on Xbox has better graphics that GTA: SA on PS2.

considering graphics are useless when you talk about these types of games. Would you rather have awesome graphics or awesome gameplay and storyline? I pick gameplay and storyline over graphics any day.... besides the xbox is a microsoft product... who knows how many bugs it has for hackers to gain backdoor entry into this or that just like every other microsoft product

Dude, I got my skills up to max too.. I am buff, I dont even wear a shirt now.. My bike skills are max too..
The easiest way to get into the airport is to jump the bike into there. It is very easy.. You can jump ontop of the building at the front gate and get in that way and there are a few other places that you can hop over the gate from the road.

What I love to do is take the jet all the way around to the top of the map and then fly south.. get as high as you can get and once you get the stars after you and the jet fires on you, jump out and use a parachute.

You can find a parachute in "downtown los santos" where the highest building is. It is round with a grey square around it on the map.. It is the highest building around. You go to the bottom of it and walk around until you find a yellow arrow.. Well Ill let you figure out what comes after that.. Itll be fun trust me.
