polishing headlights

Post by marius »

I've checked out Barry Clark's web page for polishing the headlights. I've looked everywhere for that 'Blue Magic Plastic Polish' . I live in Canada and I don't think they sell it here. What do the guys in T.O use to polish their headlights. Mine are practically yellow now.
Thanks

Can't find that blue magic stuff in the states either, but as i was walking into my house from my garage after the last time i washed my car, i looked to my left and sitting there buried under some rags with just enough of the word blue sticking out was a bottle of blue magic, and it works very good. :p

Use the 3M plastic polish. I tried 5 different polishes, and nothing made it look as good, or lasted as long as the 3M.

I've taken my headlights apart, on my 5th gen civic. There glass.
You just gotta stick the whole headlight assembly in the oven, let it back for like 10 min, then pry apart with a screwdriver.
Then when you seal them back up use clear exterior silicone.
