Dude..drop it down to like 1,000-1,300 area and maybe people will throw money at you.
I purchased my 1993 GS 5 speed for 700.00 with only 161,000.
I just picked up a 1994 RS with a new engine for 500.00 with only 94,000 on the car so you may want to seriously reconsider taking a huge dive in price.

Idle problems are usually a vacuum issue 90% of the time. If you find no vacuum issues, i'd hit up the coolant system it may be sending the wrong readings causing ECu confusion.
