How much for the altenator if the car isn't sold as whole? And how soon will you be able to tell us whether it's going as a parts car or if someone is going to buy the whole thing?

I went to the mazda dealership and got what I needed, passenger side halfshaft for 430$.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!! You could have got two parts cars for that much. :shock: :shock: :shock:

axles and intermediate (jack) shaft... i am waiting to hear back from someone who wanted to buy everything to swap his atx for the mtx if he doesn't want it then i will part out the axles and shafts seperately...

This is a halfshaft, for some vehicle, which one I don't know. But just to give you an idea of what your looking for here is one... It's very similiar to this halfshaft, except for the part I put a red box around, it's different there. I put a blue circle ...

The halfshaft goes from the tranny to the hub...um can't really describe it any better than actually getting you a pic, is that good enough descrip for ya? Check google for pics

Interested in the passenger side halfshaft (including the intemediary shaft parts) for my 93' Mx-3 1.8L manual without anti-lock brakes. I don't think the halfshaft and intermediary halfshaft parts need to be from a 1.8l, but I think it might need to be manual...I know it definately cannot have anti ...

Trying to get the passenger side halfshaft off of a 93' mx-3 that has no anti-lock brakes, and I'm not sure if it has to have a manual tranny or not, but mine is a manual, so if yours is a manual and you'd be willing to get rid of that part, I'm definately interested, thanks.

haha, I wish. I've been to all the local parts stores, including advanced auto, napa and autozone, not a single one carries the passenger side halfshaft for a 93' mazda mx-3. I've called all the local mazda dealers also, nothing. I've been to every junkyard that isn't more than 2 hours away from me ...

Hmm, dunno what to say other than it's just a few inches behind the brake caliper is where it starts and it's hmm, roughly 3 feet long, maybe a little more? Here is a picture of a halfshaft for some standard vehicles (Obviously the mx-3 is different) If you can't tell off this, I can get some pics ...
