Looking to get rid of my MX-3 after a fatal transmission accident.
Car has 240Kmi, running engine. Body is still in good shape, interior is in very good shape as well. Would make an excellent parts car or project car for the right buyer. It is silver with black cloth interior. There are matching ...

Re: southeast meet?
When's the next Nashville meet? I was hoping to find another one, but haven't heard so much as a whisper...I live an hour south of Nashville, and I really don't want to take the 12 hour drive to Florida.

Wanted -- Manual transmission
I have a 94 1.6L 4cyl, and I wanted the manual transmission for the car, and was looking for a good priced tranny in reasonable condition. Not only the trans, but everything I'd need to do the swap if possible.
Thanks.
Rai.

How many manufactured?
I just wondered if there was site somewhere that said how many MX-3s were manufactured, and how many were what color, engine, and all that other stuff. Wanna see just how rare some of them are.
Thanks!
-Rai.

Re: Running rough, no power.
Well, had cylinder #1 wire test at over 10kohms. Figured it was a bad wire -- cylinder 1 was dead, so there's the lack of power. The plug itself was black, and since it was new, I figured just clean it and put it back in. Should run fine. Gonna order new wires from CorkSport, and hope they run all ...

Running rough, no power.
Well, got my car back earlier this week, and now I'm having trouble again. The distributor was at fault before, and now it's showing similar symptoms, but the car still runs. She says, "sput sput sput sput vroom! sput sput sput!" She runs, but not like she's supposed to. She ticks now, and the ...

Re: CAR WON'T RUN!! HELP!
Okay. Final conclusion? Replaced the MAF and distributor.
Car runs great again, but no PRM. *sigh* Parents sure can suck sometimes. Accusing me of trying to "hot rod" my car. All I wanted was a "smooth" sound and some extra miles per gallon. That was the main thing. I really don't think the PRM ...

Re: CAR WON'T RUN!! HELP!
The car doesn't even start with the stock air box. I don't know what's wrong. (Yet, my parents, who one says doesn't know anything about cars...keep blaming this on me and yelling and stuff because my car doesn't run.)

No - the original MAF was fried. Could I have fried another one? The ...

Re: CAR WON'T RUN!! HELP!
Okay. Got my car back. It's back in the shop. Found out the mechanic went shady on me and replaced a lot of stuff that he shouldn't have (illegally at that), and I ended up paying $854. My parents are mad at *me* because I ended up having to borrow $400 from them to pay the bill. When my car stalled ...

Re: Test pipes?
Main reason to avoid removing the catalytic converter..........ILLEGAL. If you have to pass emissions tests......don't remove the cat.
[ January 17, 2002: Message edited by: Raivynn ]

Re: CAR WON'T RUN!! HELP!
Well, the mechanic got back to me today about my car.
Y'all sittin', right? Mass airflow sensor is bad.
I'm barely gonna be able to afford this.

What a girl will go through to have a PRM intake.

I may not be a moderator or staff, but you can tone down the language a bit. It's quite rude.

MX-3 Owners in Middle Tennessee
I'm trying to find a fellow MX-3 owner in my area. I live in the north part of Columbia, and I'm finding it hard to modify my car without an MX-3 owner's help in person. If there's anyone around who's installed AEM parts on their car, please email me and let me know, so we may be able to meet and ...

Re: CAR WON'T RUN!! HELP!
What would cause the intake to cause this? Is there a vacuum leak somewhere? If so, please tell me where to look.
By the way -- anyone else who's put a PRM intake on his/her car, has this happened to you? Were you completely satisfied with the product? I'm gonna b!tch at PRM, and most likely send ...
