I picked up the rest of the parts I needed (pass. side axle and clutch kit), so in the next few days, I will be putting the motor together and getting ready to drop it in. I have Saturday off, so hopefully it will be ready to go into the car by then. I'm hoping to at least get it started Saturday, a...

Today I picked up the manual BP starter, flywheel, alt. pulley, and distributor. So all I have to get now parts-wise is a clutch kit and a passenger side axle. I pulled the old tranny today as well, so now I get to start putting everything together and getting it ready to put back in the car. I stil...

Well, I'm doing the auto-manual swap at the same time, so I need the manual harness. And it's really best to use the ECU that comes with the engine, because it will be tuned to the BP, whereas my old ECU is tuned to the B6. And update though: I got a manual MX-3 harness from a buddy who works at the...

Got the interior wiring done. Just need to put the dash back in (and the seats and the steering column) and then I can move on to pulling the tranny. After that, I'll put the new motor in with the new tranny already attached. OK...I have a question about the shifter assembly...the shifter fell out t...

Alright. Since I couldn't find an answer to my question above, I took out the dash and traced the wires in question to find out where they go. Most of them go to the auto tranny, so those came out with the auto tranny harness. There are 4 extra wires on the plugs now, and I am assuming they run to t...

OK, so today I got the pedal assembly installed, some of the shifter installed, the master cylinder and brake master resovior installed, and I put the new wiring harness in...and then I ran into a problem before I could install the new ECU... I noticed that the harness works great...it's the matchin...

Well, I got the tranny and stuff, including the half shaft, but they couldn't find the passenger side axle anywhere in town that was in good condition, so they took $75 off so I could buy a new one from the parts store. Hell, while I'm at it, I may just buy both axles new. I still need to get a clut...

Sounds like you got everything. Good score. With the axels did you get the halfshaft (jackshaft)? If you did then I think you got everything you need. I asked for the whole assembly, so I assume I'm getting it. Thanks for the reply, though...I'll make sure I have it when I leave the junk yard tomor...

Well, I bought a new tranny and everything I need for the swap, including the manual wiring harness for the engine. The deal they gave me was $500. That includes, the pedal and shift assemblies, tranny, axles, clutch, flywheel, master and slave cylanders, all lines (minus the clutch line, because it...

So the BP10 will work with an auto tranny? Is there a piggy back AT CPU or anything? That's a good idea, but I'm thinking about just doing the tranny swap as well. It may cost a little more, but the car is still drivable...so I can save up for it. Also, I'd really LOVE to have a manual, so I might a...

So...doing a little more reading, I found that I will run into a TPS problem...any suggestions? I know, I know, just go to MTX, and that's what I MAY have to do, but I don't wanna delay the swap until I save up for a tranny swap as well...so...any OTHER suggestions or fixes? Why can't I just switch ...
