I can't remember off the top of my head the two head codes on the engine. when you listed one of them, I did.
I think the the other was 101 instead of 1A1, but can't be bothered walking outside to double check

with those pics and numbers, that was definately a klze.

250 is probably mean 2.5 litre ? It was on the inlet manifold AND the timing belt cover. If your not sure, look at a few others kl series engines first to compare :D those numbers you listed on the head, yes that is a straight neck klze. same as mine. they are different numbers on each head, but you...

where abouts are you ? that engine looks pretty good and clean to me. you seem to know what you're looking for. which ever klze you buy, you're not going to know how it's been transported, if it runs well, if the owner in japan gave it lots of stick, how long it's been sitting. etc etc it looks like...

Isn't the miller cycle too tall to clear the hood in our car ?

How would you get around this ? Modify the hood ?

the other had a k8 ze with 107kw.

kl-01 cams come in sooner at a lower rpm range i am very sure on this YES !!!! the curve neck is off the eunos 800 and were all auto.. the reason the peak power band came in earlier is because the car was significantly heavier than the other cars that had the straight neck and to pull the extra wei...

Gro, I gotta question, did the 4.11 tranny feel like it lost anything from the 4.39 ?

like revved a little slower or had a bit less at lower rpm ?

I imagine it wouldn't really feel any different - just that you can rev a little "further" in each gear...

what you think Gro ?

I think the klze is quite happy to be revved to 7000rpm.. my buddys' is :D with the 4.39 tranny I believe in 2nd gear you would be doing about 90-95 km/h. ( about 55 mph ) at 7000 rpm.. with the 4.11 tranny at 7000 rpm in 2nd gear you would be doing about 100- 105 km/h ( about 60 - 63 mph ) So with ...
