I had the exact same problem, couldn't figure it out for a bit, but all it ended up being was the rotor scraping against the heat shield, just bent it back, problem solved

I'm new to owning a mx-3...so not that knowlegable! My check engine light came on about three weeks ago, so i got it checked out and was told that it was a cat code/o2 code, i checked it out and my o2 sensors were doing everything that they were suppost to be doing along with my cat (so nothing funn...
