I bought my 94 new in Jan of 95. I change the oil every 10,000 miles weather it needs it or not and I have over 180,000 miles on it. Runs great, three clutches later several batteries, and 4 sets of spark plug wires later. I also had to replace the half shafts but other than that the thing won't die!!

You may want to check your spark plug wires. I have had to replace them several times and the symptoms were similar.
