Hi .. I dont think there is a Mazdaspeed Rear brace AFAIK .. they did make a front brace but never heard of the rear one before ...

Sounds like drive-shaft nut not torqued corretly causing a loose or over tight wheel bearing ....

You probably know this already but the pulleys are marked " L " and "R " .. L is the front bank and R is the rear bank ... Also you mention you lined the crank to 10 on the T-belt cover .. try lining up to T instead and then when you have the engine running line up to 10 with it running .

Had a similer problem myself , Had fuel and spark but the engine wouldent run :confused2: . Found the a cam pulley had been instaled backwards :oops: so when checking the timing marks everything lined up fine but it obvoiusley wasent gona start . Turned the cam pulley round and re-allighned the ...

Finally figured it out ... Had an earth problem which burned out some wires .. Hence no spark . Replaced damaged harness and fixed ground problem and guess what .... it fired first tip of the key ! :D .. have fitted a Xedos 9 intake manifold ( Curved neck ) inc throttle body and the car seem to run ...

I purchased from Nippon Spares in Nov 04 and it only took about 2 weeks for delivery ( Am based in Ireland ) , Had no problem with them at all , They did charge me a lot more then you were qouted , I paid £117 or 280CDN excluding shipping for a KL36 .

Thanks for your help , Am using the K8 Disty and KFZE ECU .. no joy , sold my K8 engine and ECU so i dont have the original ECU , tried a pre 93 KLDE ECU and a KFDE ECU and it did'ent work ..... .. I havent given up yet .. Will update as soon as i figure this one out .

Have a 93 Euro spec V6 Mx3 .. fitted KFZE Engine and ECU from 92 MX6 , kept my original Wiring loom leaving the EGR bits disconnected ... My Question is are the JDM Mx6 ECU's compatible with the Euro spec Looms ?

Tried to start the car but am getting no spark , Everything else seems ok . Tested ...
