I went to a shop today and they said they would lower my car either with springs or a "universal" coil-over. I told him about the excort deal and he said that he could make these work just the same. They were blue, and didn't have a spring rate on them, but were the best he had in his shop...

would you be willing to sell them? Becuase if you were i would be interested. artfreak@ku.edu

Ha, thanks for the suggestion, but I want it to be safe. What would be a good price for lowering springs/labor/install... i know it will just be a ballpark guess, i just don't want to be taken.

Anyone?? I thought that is would be a common mod for us RS owners... my car looks like a rally car right now with about 2" gap between tire and car... OUCH*

will it even look good do you think? I mean 400 bucks is a lot to spend for it to look almost stock when i am done wiht it... any suggestions?

I wanted to get some spring set at a speedshop for 400 installed and they would only drop my car 1.5"... first off is it worth it? Will they look "slammed" or if i got my hands on some coilovers... and only dropped them down 2" can i just use stock struts after adjusting them for...

that is insane. I just have a full range box, 8's mids and tweets, but that is pretty cool. I wonder what they would charge for that set up? I mean that is something ppl sohould think about before they go and just buy the "coolest" lookin' 12's and some weak amp to power them.

ok what is this about "sleeves" and strut/shocks combo... i thought to drop your car all you needed was a set of "coilovers" and some room between the tire and the wheel well to use...<p>I would be interested if buying these "sleeves" would drop my car down with stock o...
