"universal" coil-over...

Post by mx-3 12acer »

I went to a shop today and they said they would lower my car either with springs or a "universal" coil-over. I told him about the excort deal and he said that he could make these work just the same. They were blue, and didn't have a spring rate on them, but were the best he had in his shop (the most $$$). I forgot the name of them, but does this sound real? Is there such a thing as a "universal" coilover? He is really good at customizing cars but i have to ? him on this one. Please help fast! hehe, I want to do it tomorrow if it is true.

ask him if there's some type of warranty or insurance deal... ask if he'll be responsible for any damages afterwards after a period of time...ANY damages.

alright, that sounds like a good idea. Thanks. Do you think there should be a warranty?

if there isn't a warranty, then it would seem a little suspicious to me. dont do it unless you get a warranty or some type of deal where they pay for any damages done to your car.
