Last pictures of my turboed Mx3
Here are the last pictures of my Mx-3 Kl turbo. I have sold it and I'd like to post the last pictures I took from my car. I had a really good time driving and working under it, first boosting the K8 (the first documented one!!), then swapping to the Kl engine and then boosting the Kl. I think I did ...

It really works on a V6, but at wot it relies on the factory pretuned closed loop fuel program. If you want to operate bigger injectors ona turbocharged engine, you don't want to add all your fuel management to the unit, you should aid it with a Afpr to lower the fuel pressure or Fmu to raise it up ...

I have done a compression test and all 6 cilinders show 170 psi, which is in range for what a Kl should give!!
What made my car smoke was the PCV valve, which was still connected in the stock way. I vented it directly to the atmosphere and plugged the intake manifold output and got rid of the white ...

Well, now what? I have the same problem when I boost at past 6 p.s.i on my turbo Kl. I think it's time to put the engine down again... I also had new pistons and rings, and every gasket and seal was also brand new, so I can't think of a worn out engine. I have detonation a couple of times, and I ...

it seems imposible but I do! As they are the only injectors I had I started to search for their limits step by step. I won't force them any higher. After that I have two ways to go, I have 6 nissan sr20det injectors and a 034 efi additional injector controller. I started to build a Kl manifold with ...

but for what I have read and heard , there is a lot of hassle to make it run right. I also loves the look and features of the S/afc, but for sure that I would decide to go to higher boost i will consideer installing one, because of the adjustable ignition timing capabilities and ability to handle ...

the cheapest fuel system to achieve 10 psi on a turbo Kl !!
When I decided to swap my K8 to a Kl, there were a few parts missing on my package: I didn't had the Kl Ecu ,the Kl Vaf and the Kl manifold. I assume that the K8 manifold on a Kl is a power robber, so it must be on a Turbo Kl!! I was able to run thecar right thanks to the Apex'i s/afc, althought ...

It depends on what boost level you want to reach. I wasn't able to lower my fuel pressure under 39 psi due the large Walbro fuel pump. I really didn't tested the Kl injectors and the stock fuel pump at a static fuel pressure of 20-25 psi with a 4:1 or 6:1 fmu ratio, but I assume that it's the way to ...
