Sorry... I meant low 14's
The only thing you could be hiding up your sleve that would be worthwhile is either a) nitrous, or b) a turbo

Both are the same engine... except one will say Ford on the valve cover, and the other will say Mazda. I've heard that the Mazda is the better of the two because its assembled in Japan whereas the Ford engine is assembled in the US, and that the Ford engine uses castings which are manufactured by a ...

Wiring Harness/ECU Question
Does anyone know if there are any differences between the 1994 and 1995 model year DOHC 4-cyl, and automatic and 5-speed ECU/Wiring harnesses? If there are any differences, could you please explain them?
Thanks!
Thanks!

These guys that try to go fast all-motor make me laugh. As far as I'm concerned, its pretty stupid to spend big money on an engine when there are readily available turbo engines that BOLT IN to your car. For the money you would spend building an NA motor to run low 13's in an MX3, you could have a t...

E-Manage Help
Does anyone know if all the features of the E-Manage are compatible with the 1994 DOHC 4 cyl MX3? I know it can modify the signal for the air flow meter, like an SAFC, but can you use the timing retard/advance feature? And if so, which wire on the ECU needs to be connected?
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.

Differences between ATX and MTX ECUs?
Does anyone know the difference between the automatic and 5-speed DOHC 4-cyl ECUs? Do the two ECUs have different sensors? For example, maybe the automatic has a 0-5v Throttle Position Sensorts whereas the 5-speed has one of those three position Throttle Position Sensors. If anyone could shed some l...

WTB: 94+ 1.6 DOHC EFI Electronics
I've got a B6T in my Festiva and this engine is a night mare to tune with my EManage. It seems impossible. I've heard that the 94+ 1.6 DOHC MX3 engine is easily tuned with the Emanage, so I'm looking for all EFI and engine management related parts (ECU, engine wiring harness, air sensor, distributor...

I called A-Spec today and asked for a price on a wiring harness, ECU, MAF, distributor, etc, etc... and they wanted $700 for it. I hope the guy was incredibally high when he quoted me that price. I could probably get an entire car for that much if I waited long enough. I called a few months ago when...

B6T 1/4 Mile Times?
Just wondering what 1/4 mile times you guys are getting with your B6T powered MX3s? My B6T powered car has gone 13.3 @ 102mph, with a 1.9 second 60' and a basic modded B6T (filter, exhaust, not fuel tuning though).
