Turns out the rotor is actually keyed into the distributor. found compression with thumb for no reason with a friend. just reinstalled vaf, new plugs. jumped the ten and ground and reset the idle to about 900 which is around 700 when u take the jumper wire out. its running like a top now! No misfire...

Do I need it on the compression stroke or something for the TDC? How do I find that out? Besides with a long screwdriver?

Hastily took my disty off trying to install the HEI Mod. Rotor still spins and everything when cranking. i have good grounds and B+ and Terminal B of the HEI. Grounds aren't dropping any volts. But the G terminal has B+ with key on ignition off, if im not mistaken thats the ecu trigger wire (orange)...

i figured that much but what about a 7 point distributor with KL series, j-spec, had the 7 points with the external coil. I was thinking about just swapping the disty and getting a connector of a probe gt with the 4 prongs.

Will a klze 7 post disty cap fit into a k8 disty and do I need a different rotor? Its doesn't matter to me if i have two keys but i need hatch lock, two door locks and glove box lock that match. haven't taken the c clip of any of the door handles but im getting tired of not having any . Also looking for information on any other compatible handles/lock cylinders.

93 GS SE mine currently rattles and has horrible gas mileage and is spitting out a code 8 and 10 time for a fix.

Read that the mx6 93-97 will bolt up to a k8 I'm just wondering if the half shaft bolts up, the splines are the same count and the axles are the same length due to various tracking width.
