M3 sidemirrors installation, is it hard?
Hey guys I think these sidemirrors are a bit cooler than the stock ones. http://viewitem.eim.ebay.dk/9295-Mazda-MX3-Electric-Door-M3-GEN2-LED-Side-Mirrors/140303736456/item But how hard are they to install for a newbie like me? I am not experienced in making alterations to my car, but of cause, I've...

Re: Is my idle too low
Thanks a lot, Inodoro. I have got to try this out. I may not do it myself, afraid to do something wrong somehow. I'm not very good with electricity. But I may find someone who can help me.
Again, thanks for the post.

Re: Is my idle too low
Hey Daninski
Sorry, but this is kinda Latin to me: Set your TPS as well. In limp mode (TEN and Grd jumped) Would you car to explain, I very green.
Isn't it kinda cheating to just adjust my idle on the screw, what if it is something else that's at fault and causes my low idle?

Re: Is my idle too low
Yeah, but mine is only taking around 450rpms as you can see on the picture, so I guess it is a bit low. But at least it is stable. Before, it could easily drop under the 250 mark. But I would like a couple of more rpms, don't know why it is a bit low.

Re: Is my idle too low
Hmm, so is it something I should look further into or will I do alright if I leave it be? I mean, I have no idea what the problem could be for the low idle, I'm a kinda newbie when it comes to the engine and pretty much everything else carstuff related, but I want to learn for sure.

Re: Which oil would suite my car best
But when I add those two treatments I mentioned and change the oil, the ticking goes away for a couple of months, what does that tell you? It tells me it's the HLAs. If it was the timing belt tensioner, replacing the oil would have no effect on the noise, and that additive would probably make FGS n...

Re: Which oil would suite my car best
I am pretty sure it's the HLA, but I can't really say for sure. I will pretty soon change the timing belt as my car is rounding the 100.000km, don't know if that'll make any difference. But when I add those two treatments I mentioned and change the oil, the ticking goes away for a couple of months, ...

Is my idle too low
Hey guys. I had a problem with my car going very low in idle and wasn't very stable. I cleaned the, argh, don't know what it is called, the thing which you attach the CAI to, before the VAF. Part of the engine kinda. You spray the cleanser in the hole and use a toothbrush to clean. Guess you know wh...

Which oil would suite my car best
I am truly sorry for posting this questions as I know it has probably been answered a 100 times on this forum. I just can't really find the answer when I search. Well, when I change oil I use these two products to get rid of the ticking: http://www.fordprobestore.co.uk/store/product_info.php?cPath=5...

Slow window, can I oil them?
The window in the drivers side is pretty slow when it comes to the last inch or two. It is an electronic window. Can i oil something to make it run more smooth? Thanks in advance... Oh, and my sunroof also very seldom won't open by itself but needs a gentle push. Is it a worn motor or can I oil it s...

Re: Catalytic Converter, what does it do?
Thank you very much, Inodoro Pereyra. Very informative post. I'm actually from Denmark and this is my first time on an English Mx3 forum, so I've got quite a few new words I have to learn, but I'll take that as a challenge. I guess, all would like more power in their cars, including me, but I am not...

Re: Catalytic Converter, what does it do?
Well, I really would like some more sound and a few more HP's, but at the expense of the planet, maybe not.
And thanks for explaining the difference between catalyst and catalytic. So many new words I have to learn when it comes to cars.
