Haha Yea this is my first car and everything dealing with cars is still pretty new to me. I'm assuming by re-skinning it you mean cutting that section out and welding a peace of metal over it. Ok so here is the bondo job. This was the best I could get it out but you can see how thick it is

The bondo process went pretty good. Its a little thick but the door was sanded to bare metal before I started. I tryed slamming the door pretty hard and its not going anywhere.
