Re: Mazda Mx-3: Future Classic?
The mx-3 was never a really popular car, it has its own close colt like following, but it is not overall a popular car, such as old Camaro's, Mustang's, and Z car's were popular and sought after. I could see Honda Civic's and Acura Integra's becoming the next classic, because they are popular, grant...

Does anyone else play car town on facebook?
As the topic says does anyone else play car town, and feel saddened by the lack of Mazda's in that game, so far

Before you replace the ditsy wear rubber gloves and have the car idling, while idling disconnect the spark plug from the wire, hold the wire about a quarter inch above the plug, and listen if there is a ticking of the spark jumping back and forth.

Re: my carbon fiber hood looks like crap... help!
I don't know if this would work with carbon fiber, but when I painted my car I didn't sand deep enough so when I went to wax it the wax got stuck in the paint (I need to sand it out and redo it but I'm lazy) it has the same problem as the carbon fiber where it looks great wet, but terrible dry, so I...

Re: Brake pedal almost falls to the floor
Even if your rotors are warped you would still have regular braking if they are warped you can have them shaved (if in specs) or just buy new ones, shaving them is half the price of new. The main problem with warped rotors is your car has a slight vibration when the brakes are applied. Rotors can be...

If it is a vaccum leak you will notice your break's aren't working very well. Does a check engine light come on? If so what does the code say?

Re: help want more performance out of k8 motor
Depending on where you live you might be able to gut your cat, also running 44k (its like seafoam, but better) though your engine never hurts. If you don't have the money to make it fast, make it look fast drop it, buy and or paint rims (painted integra rims look nice).

Re: DE or ZE for what I want to do, ideas?
If you plan on boring it out then it doesn't matter at all, but if you just want to rebuild the engine try to find one taken care of to make sure the cylinders are as close to the stock diameter, if it has been overheated (engines with bad head gaskets are a dime a dozen) there is a chance the cylin...

I have the v6 and had a problem similar to it, although I had a code of a water temp sensor, also from time to time it had trouble starting.

Re: WTB - Manual Seatbelt Kit for 93 MX3
When I did my conversion I went to a pull it yourself junk yard and used probe seat belts, their is a spot in the frame they thread into, the only modification needed is drilling into the side for the bolt to go into, and also to put a notch side piece. I spent $15 for the pair.

Re: whats better?
Chevy v8's are great motors, in my opinion the heavy cast iron engines you talk about can handle a hell of a beating. With aluminum when they overheat they its not to hard warp the cylinders(I know people here actually take care of their stuff but most of the world doesan't), you have to be trying t...

Re: Difference in coolant neck sensor's
I just replaced the green sensor (for the fuel my scanner code was 09 for water temp sensor), it looks like the new ones can be used for either one, at Advanced Auto that was the only coolant sensor they had (I had to make sure because every time I get a part the parts store manages to mess it up tw...
