Suspension
Ok, so i don't clutter the other thread anymore, i figure i'd create my own. So far, here's what we've concluded.... ZX-2 assemblies will bolt up to my '92 RS, last post on the other thread the guy said the ZX-2 "should" be stiffer, the only thing i see with that, is the fact that i put as...

Re: ZX2 SR struts and .... - Questions
ok, so i searched and ask a couple of member, and no one seems to know if there springs (off the regular ZX-2) are stiffer or softer than the ones on my RS. i wanna go a lil stiffer, the .5" drop is great, but i don't know yet what spring to use. stock RS ones or stock ZX-2 ones. thanks for the...

Re: ZX2 SR struts and .... - Questions
OK, so is there any reason why i couldn't just swap the whole ZX-2 assembly into my car? i don't wanna lower it, since there are some dirt roads here, but it would be nice to get rid of some of the squatting it has. specially for safety. and the old people. lol. so, can i just go to a junk yard and ...

those are white.
updating now, i got a new set of projector HLs, still interested on the rest of the items, and if at all possible, i need a stock V6 cat-back exhaust.

Re: gtx aluminum oil pan
staying in topic, do we have to remove much to do this? change the oil pan, i mean. on the miatas you have to pull the whole engine.
can this be done with the engine IN the car? what has to be pulled off to do so?

Re: turbo and manifold are on coolant lines and water lines
hey My water lines are not done just yet. The best way to do it is to cut into one of the TBody lines and take it to the turbo and then return from the turbo back to the tbody .. WORST IDEA EVER! you're gonna get heat from the turbo coolant INTO the TB?! :? not to be an a$$, sorry if i come out tha...

Swaybar bushings
Ok, so i know i researched this, and unless i'm really blind (already wear glasses) i didn't see it. I know, i read it somewhere in here, that Energy Suspension makes a swaybar bushing that, although is made for the 323, can be used on our cars so long as we get the C-clamp for the 323. So, my quest...

Re: differences
would i be able to use the regular RS springs with the ZX-2 combo? i've read the FAQ but everyone orders the lowering springs. can i still use the original springs? or should i pull the whole assembly off a junkyard like i did with the GS?

differences
hey yall... as i've said before, i'm new here... so my question, what are the differences between the GS and RS springs? both '92s. here's why i ask. i just bought a '92 RS, and the PO had beatten the suspension to the ground. literally. the shock rod was completelly loose and just... sitting there....

Re: Racingmazda.com's Turbo
ooh, and on the SOCH-DOHC swap threads, i haven't seen anyone pointing out the fact that you'd need a new exhaust mani.

Re: Racingmazda.com's Turbo
wow, i did not know that they had diff bolt patterns. i had looked through the forum, and in one of the threads, where the SOHC dude wants to swap to a DOHC off a capri, and someone else had told him to keep his own IM so he had the intake to the side, not "over the valve cover" like the o...

Re: Racingmazda.com's Turbo
i don't see why it would be any different than the DOHC. if i'm not mistaken Corksport was going to build headers that would fit both. but i might be mistaken. i would like a 2nd opinion, as i'm about ready to buy a turbo to put on my snail. and would like to know if i need to swap heads first or if...

Re: Cruise control Question.
oh, i wasn't trying to offend you, sorry if i came out that way. it's just that, i've been a mazda guru most of my life (owned pretty much everything: a 323, an RX-7, 2 MX-6s, a 626, now a miata and mx-3) and most of the times the harnesses are just capped or left hanging. i was hoping that would be...

Re: Cruise control Question.
wow, you need all that? holy... i figured i'd need the mechanical and some sort of controler, but i always thought the wire harness would be the same, just nothing plugged in. it's not like mazda to make diff wire harnesses... but i guess i could be wrong...? second opinion???
