dude, i have to tell you... you've inspired me. i was thinking about doind the v6 swap for mine, but after this, i want your setup. although i'm going a litle less into detail. i do have to thank you for the IC pipes setup. i was wondering how to go about it... would you mind taking a pic of the hot...

Re: got a couple of Qs

i don't think the trannies will even work! the XR-2 tranny uses a cable opperated clutch, which is not compatible with our hydr. unit. they're not even interchangeable among capris. good job on the buy though, very nice price. just take the engine and swap it for yours. the sensors should work, and ...

Re: Ongoing problem. Bad water pump?

take the belts off it, and check the pump for play.
grab the WP pulley and just yank it. you won't break it.
if it has play, or you "break it" it's a bad WP.

Re: Ongoing problem. Bad water pump?

well if you had a bad water pump the pulley wouldnt spin. or it would spit water from around the barings. and if you have a leak it screws with the circulaton of coolent. because it has air in the lines. as long as you dont have any leaks anywhere else. you can just replace your radiator and it wil...

Re: Seafoam on engine valves

if i'm not mistaken, it's just pure petroleum, so it disolves the gunkyness (which is just burnt oil) from the engine. since it has to chemically disolve the gunk, i recomend leaving it there as long as possible. it's like taking a stain off a shirt...the longer you leave the bleach, the cleaner it ...

Re: Miata internals/ MX-3 internals

now, on to the head gasket...they are the same.
all B6 DOHC gaskets are the same wether for the miata, or the mx-3, or the 323s, or even the capris. we all have the same part numbers, based on a quick call to my buddy over at the mazda dealer here in FL.
just fyi.

To blue demon: Lift: how "high" the cams push the valves open. or in lames termes, how "much they open the valve" Duration: the ammount of time the valves are open, based on .000 of seconds. For example, a 230@.50 will open the valves .230th of an inch for .50 seconds, a 250@55 w...

Re: Seafoam on engine valves

Does this affect a turbo ze in any negative effect? I seafomed my ze when I first had it around 20k miles ago. At the time I had bad turbos, leaking oil into the intake. Intake valves look good(looked at them from the IM side) but I dont know.. does seafoam kill wideband o2 sensors? it says on the ...

Re: o2 sensor signal/power on

Thanks for the fuse tap idea, didn't think of that. I will get a WB O2, but for the meantime, I need something to help me. I already have the gauge, and at 200, the WB is not exactly cheap or at the top of my list. I'm not FI yet, I'm gonna add MS before I do FI.

o2 sensor signal/power on

Ok, I have a 94 GS and I'm installin a new air/fuel ratio gauge. Which outta the 4 wires on the o2 sensor gives out the signal? And also, under the dash, which wire would give me acc on? I want my gauges to come on only when the engine is running. I tried searchin but I have no internet, had to do t...

Re: GI: neuspeedescort/neuman autio fiberglass creations

ok, so can you design something that would follow the contour of a '94, and fit 2 gauges? or something that would sit on top of the dash (have you seen any FDs with the center gauges?) and make it price-wise??? i've been wanting a center gauge cluster for a while for both my mx and miata....let me k...
