Check the flex line too, but make sure you have someone pushing the clutch in when you do, otherwise, you might not notice the leak(happened to me when i first got my mx3, took me weeks to figure out where my clutch/break fluid was going) :freak:

Here's a thought...could be the shift linkage out of adjustment. If it is, and it's not being engaged fully in park, then it wouldnt start. When you say the RPM's go high before shifting, do you mean when you move the selector to drive, it rev's high and then clunks into gear...cuz if so, then that ...

^^^ :werd: This means what??? Just agreeing... As in no bias....at least none that I noticed...I mean the very first run in, they did a brake service on brakes that were serviced the day prior!!!! How is that biased????? That's why I refuse to let any mechanic work on my MX3...At least if something...

Grrrrrrrrr....anyone else tired of their cheap A$$ OEM bolts and fasteners sheering off???? :evil: Ended up making a trip to Lowes and forked out $25 for a ton of Stainless Steel Fasteners....no more re-using rusted out bolts and nuts....Car is currently rust free, minus the bolts for some damn reas...

Just curious, where are you located in germany???? anywhere near the Kaiserlautern area???? If so, there's an awesom Pull a part yard just outside Einsiedlerhof(no, not the Ramstien Air Base one)...but they have sh*t tons of MX-3's there...

Hooking up the EGR would work, but why bother....there are plenty of other ways to trick the emissions test...if you have an adjustable FPR, dial down the pressure just for the test...in other words, since you're failing it due to high ammounts of Hydrocarbons in the exhaust, then think of ways to l...

How's the clutch pedal feel???? If it's a bit loose, I'd try bleeding it out, and if that still doesnt work, look into the slave cylinder.......

Probably a stuck reverse light switch....or possibly a frayed wire near it that's grounding itself out....had the same issue when I first got the car, and it turned out to be that...
