small question concerning intake

I'm working on my intake again, and I have a small question - Under the throttle is something that looks like crankcase breather (red arrow on the picture) http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/4175/przepu.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us Normally it's connected to the air intake - but I've been thinkin...

Re: djArias mx-3 1.6 dohc 1995

I finally had a chance to take my mx-3 to the dyno :) quite happy with the results taking under consideration that it's a slightly moded B6BF ... :] I checked two types of CAI's during tests - as you can see the red/brown version is much better :D http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/9714/mocdolotstoz...

Re: BP timing?

This may not be the smartest question to ask, but there seem to be two methods of B6DE Timing, one from the online manual and second by the link suggested by REDLINE332, I did a SIMPLE image in paint showing the two ways: http://images50.fotosik.pl/277/09b6f987dad29586m.jpg which one is correct? or ...

Re: Rev Limiter once again

That will not raise your upper rpm limit. ?? How come?? It is said that the bigger the crystal the higher the rev limit - like 4,2 crystal in place od 4mhz (that's what I want to do) will increase the rev limit from 6900 to 7331 (which should not affect the engine in any way and should not lean the...

Rev Limiter once again

Hello I've been thinking about doing the ECU mod (changing the crystal) - and I wanted to know what you think about it? As far as my opinion is concerned CAI + No Cat. exhaust move the maximum power/torque to the higher values of engine rotations therefore rev limit. should be changed as well... Loo...

Re: djArias mx-3 1.6 dohc 1995

Flywheel was machined by my friend - costed around 80 USD. - When I checked the stock flywheel with cluch it was around 12kg, mine is a bit less then 9kg. Brake callipers - I have no idea - I suppose someone machined them as well - bought them for 10USD from a person that crushed his mx-3 :) Finally...

Re: Small question concerning VACUUM

I already had it done by the previous owner when I bought my mx-3 the EGR was removed (not sure whether it has anything to do with the vacuum) from the exhaust manifold. Here is a new picture is everything the way it is supposed to be? (I mean red to red blue to blue and green to green) http://www.f...

Small question concerning VACUUM

I've got a small question concerning vacuum I compared the diagram from the manual with my car and there is a small difference - two lines are swapped (on this picture they are marked with blue and red color http://images42.fotosik.pl/118/6880364222739e70med.jpg" onclick="window.open(this....
