Re: Question about switch in MX-3

check the special edition link on this site, http://www.mx-3.com/se/ there is a pic of the heated seat switches. As far as I know only canadian models of the Special Edition got the heated leather seats.
My American SE did not come with heated seats - I had to put in aftermarket.

Re: Removing the Ceiling

I've taken it out before, not that hard but you must be careful as the ceiling is delicate and you have to pop some clips to get it out. Start from the front and work your way back. make sure the plastic parts are off so you can see the edges

Re: HVAC

It should not be too hard. I guess you would need to get a 94 or 95 slider control panel with the cables from a junk yard (can get one around $35) and route them to the heater unit and the blower unit. on those two I think you would need to remove the little servo motors. I've done this in reverse ...

Re: HVAC INDIGLO GUAGES (poll) Speedhut

Interested - push button<p>Side note: Switching from 93 slider to 94 push button I found out that the 94+ control panel is an inch shorter in width - so there may have to be 3 types. Nice job on the design so far, keep them coming.

Re: 93 GS Special Edition

the sunroof rubber surround is probably stuck to the paint, if you go back to see it, push up on the sunroof while pressing the open button. If it pops up and runs then its ok. The ticking is normal for the engine at this age, regular oil changes and the correct level will help. consider offering ...

Re: still have loud click... not CV joints

check your stabilizer bar end links both front and rear. grab onto the bar and if you can move it - theres you problem/noise. I doubt the bushings are done - but possible. The front bushing are extremely difficult to get to btw. Rear bar is easy.

Re: Dash board swap

heads up on the heating/coooling air system. the 94+ had either slider control or electronic control. The slider control should work fine in a 93/92 with the 94 dash. However, if you go the electronic route, you need to replace the entire heating assembly(except the heating radiator) and the blower ...
