Re: Lowering Spring Install

thanks all for the info. I did the spring install this past weekend on a members mx-3 and it went real smooth, so easy to work the strut/spring assembly, no seized LCA bolts like on my honda.
no need for a spring compressor either, when you have air tools :D

Lowering Spring Install

Hey guys/gals, anyone have a link to a good DIY step by step for lowering spring install on a mx-3? I have done springs and coils on civics before, so I know the general idea, just wondering if anyone has any links to ones for mx-3.
thanks a bunch.

Re: What amp do i need?

The subs are DVC not SVC. If he has the DVC 4 ohm, his wiring options are 1 ohm or 4 ohms. and the the RF amp does not like 1 ohm, and if he wires to 4 ohms hes getting only 500 watt rms.

Re: Question for loadsubs?

You cant have negative resistance, that is correct, but you can have a load below 1 ohm.
Example.
Quad Coil 2 ohm sub, all in paralell would yield 0.5 ohms so its very possible. To find an amp capable is another.
