good thinking, i'll see what i can do. Hopefully i can get this thing timed with out that cover with the timing tab thing.

I think i was told cyl #1. But i don;t think i will be able to get a wrench in there. I'll have to give it a try tonight.

Well i took the timing belt off tonight. I was able to turn the cams but not sure how I'm going to get the crank turned, its such a small space.

I just found out that the timeing cover near the crank with the timing indicator on it, is not there. Can;t a still allign the crank gear with out that mark? Also, i checked with the garage and they told me that i probably bent my valves when i tried starting the engine. What are the chances that ha...

So checked out the timing and found that the cams are out of phase entirely. Calling some garages tomorrow to get a price on having it timed.

Ok so at first the BP engine didn;t start because there was no fuel pumping. I figured that out tonight and fuel is getting to the engine now BUT it only turns over and then shoots fire out of the header. In case no one knows, its a 93 BP engine swapped into a 95 MX-3.
