-No problem, you can do that, I did at mine mx3.
-The current will be increased a little bit for night lights(low power).
-The current will grow up more for brake lights, but how it is for a few
time, isn't a problem, and probably the circuit fuses are provided to
work with this increase.

Honestly dude, NOT worth $200+ yeah, seriously though, you guys saying these kind of things is weird. like we all understand how rare it is, and how hard it is to get your hands on this stuff. yeah it's just a metal piece under your door, but it's like.....a piece, i dunno, but to ME it's worth tha...
