Re: Need a little help with my stereo.

A 1200 Watt low budget poo quality amp is like the equivilant to a 300 Watt quality amp that only costs about $200 more... sorry to say.

But back to the problem at hand...

Are those Pyramid amps even fused??

Of course they have fuses. hehe 1 per sub-woofer connection. I'm selling this car, I ...

Re: Need a little help with my stereo.

are you sure you've wired it correctly? thats all I can reall think of.
It's all correct. The alternator is old... it's the original one that came with the car, and it has been sitting for a WHILE. My friend told me that it is the alternator. He put a better alternator in the parts car; I might ...

Re: Need a little help with my stereo.

Let the poor guy whatever crap he wants.

It will run, but I think he'll know when it fries.

Actually help him with the problem.

Re: Need a little help with my stereo.

Well it costs $60 from radio shack, that sets off every single warning signal I can imagine. Honestly, what do you expect? Are you one of those people that just wants a tons of muddy, distorted bass because it rumbles? I wonder what the real RMS power of that pyramid amp is. No I want a clear good ...

Re: Need a little help with my stereo.

Sounds like you have a short somewhere, but a short would blow a fuse. Are you sure the amp's good? Pyramid is that cheap ebay brand isn't it?

Lol... not really. It's a good hard punching amp, I found out what is wrong, I bridged one of the 1600's and it works... the amp cannot put out for the 2 ...

Need a little help with my stereo.

Alright I am having an issue of when I turn the control switch on, my car shutters and almost stalls. My subs make a small "boof" and then shut off. The amp stays on through all of this, I made sure that my Positive 12V+ and the ground are in the proper slots. Could it be the negative and positive ...

Re: 92 to 95 Interchangeability. (Please reply ASAP)

There's a post and it could be in FAQ on how to route power in the newer drivers window switch so it will control the passenger window. They did change how the sytem works but you can correct it by jumping a wire on the drivers switch board.

Well I take it that there would be a Positive and ...

Re: Lime Green MX-3 in Maine 4/8/09

A lime green MX-3 might have made me puke, not made my day. But to each his own...

What made my day is that I had seen it online the night prior, and randomly driving this morning I saw it in my state. That is what made my day, not the color. There's only a certain way lime green can look ...

Re: 92 to 95 Interchangeability. (Please reply ASAP)

I swapped out to power windows. It "may" work with your stock wiring harness, but it might not. For me it did not.. if it doesn't work for you like that, let me know and i'll try and see if i can remember which wires i spliced to where so you know how to get it running.

W/ power locks and ...

Lime Green MX-3 in Maine 4/8/09

Okay someone just made my day and I am curious if they are on here... I just saw a Mazda MX-3 on Rt. 26 in Oxford, ME. Heading North.
Ironically I swear I saw this one online last night. The car was lime green and I believe it had this body kit. http://www.andysautosport.com/mazda/1992_1995_mx_3 ...

Re: 92 to 95 Interchangeability. (Please reply ASAP)

i know this post is dead, but I bought my friends car for 150 dollars. Sadly it's in worse condition. So my original idea is in the dust now.

My Mazda during the winter ended up getting hit by a snow plow. My father decided to park it too close to the road. Had a headlight busted, and the hood ...

Re: [WTB] OEM Sideskirts, Corksport Front Bumper

I was wondering if someone had reasonably priced OEM Sideskirts/Copies

Reasonably priced is around 150 to 200 dollars for something that is used. I will not pay 300 dollars for someones used, taped on, salt ground down sideskirts; that are believed to have value. The same style that Andrew has on ...
