Re: [FS] KLDE 178K(near toronto)
ya but, 178000 klms.... i dont think $500 is fair. id say $300 but like seven said, if you ripped it out the wreckers then $500 is well worth the time and engine.

Re: KLZE questions, need the pro's

So the only thing thats really differnet between the two is the pistons right? the ze's are domed and de's are flat or is it the other way around? I presume that ze's have large...

Re: KLZE questions, need the pro's
ohh im a little confused now. i thaught you meant that a klde and a klze will both have either kl31-1a1 and kl31-101 stamped on the heads. so do de's have one specific stamping on the heads or could they also have either. What im really looking for is a way to tell between a de and a ze. becasue jap...

Re: freshly rebuilt ZE having running issues
for the compression, how many klm's have you driven so far? Its most likely because the rings havnt set yet and your compression will be low. Wait untill the car is broken in to test the compression.

Re: For those who like motocross, i need help.
ive done alot of thinking when it come down to modifying them. but in reality i dont want to be fabricating crankshafts because its the most important piece in the engine and there designed to be the exact way for the years that they cover. for example, the crank for a 85 and 86 are almost identical...
