also after cranking for awhile the coil get very hot

ok added the external coil, still nothing, i drilled the cap, added the power tower, took off the metal strap inside the dist, wired it up and nothing, im lost

anyother ideas, i got all weekend to mess with it, thanks

yeah hobag said it better, but is there anything else to try other than the external coil, any other test i can run before i burn the heap

i installed the new ignition modual from a 82 chevette as per the write up, wired it up all ok, double,triple checked it and it still wont start, it worked fine for 1 day and now its dead, just will roll over, it seems now like it was a problem that was getting worse and worse, and now what ever was...

got on for egr and cranksensor, check engine light comes and goes, but whim i scaned it, those where there, thanks by the way for all the help

its hard to say, it has low klms and is in really good shape but i cant judge if the maintence has been up to date, i were pretty mush starting from scratch, so what should i do 1st,

as far as i no, its just the plugs and wires that were replaced, before that i dont as i bought it used,

i got a 93 V6 auto and eveyonce in a while it will stall, sometime while driving some times in the morning after it sits overnite, but eventually it will start some times in 15 mins sometimes in 2hrs, i got new plug and wires on it, got anyideas, thanks
