You can try to torque the bolt connecting the shifter to the shift rod (and bolt between the shifter rod and shif actuator of the tranny). If it doesn't help your shifter bushings are probably worn. Change them for Mazda ones or get stiffer aftermarket ones.

What about the clearance with the transverse crossmember?<p>Anyone with pics of headers installed on a GS?

Would you have by any chance a picture of that car on the side to see the real height of that spoiler on it?

Do you still have the master cylinder and Brake booster unit?

Can someone with Altezza confirm if lens is sealed with clear silicone sealant or if seal is invible. If silicone was used heat will not do any good. If no seal is apparent, ultrasonic welding or methyl-chloride were used and only way to separate the lens would be to break it.
