I got the same effect with some small grit sand paper, and some tooth paste rubbed on a peice of computer paper along with 2-3 hours of elbow grease...while watching the TV

Not sure if this is relevant to your issue but with my 92 RS i pulled out the stock radio to put in a stereo i just got cut off the plug and my clock stopped resetting and has worked ever since. Not sure what was going on there though.

What is the fuse labled "Room" in the interior fuse box for?

This really helped me out in wiring up my stereo, wouldve taken alot longer to find each set of speakers wires.

One last thing, I would suggest getting a wireless controller, as you can see wired controllers are junk anyways.

Must be a defective controller then...Wouldnt know what else to tell you besides try a friends wired controller on your system to see if you get the same results.

Did you try all the usb ports to see if they all do the same thing?
