right ive heard to do that before but im a noob and im not sure what exactly the vris is and where it is located....i feel dumb for asking but does anyone have a link to a pic or something of reference for me to look for?? thanks again.

i have a question for anyone willing to help me...is it possible for my "VRIS" to be not working properly for me to get such poor times? i mean i wasnt even close to stock times with the full interior stripped, an intake, and exhaust...i know its an automatic but still i got beat by a 1987 chevy ...

yeah ive thought of that but there arent any manual mx3's around here where i live. :( i know where a v6 mx-3 with a blown auto tranny for 700 and a v6 mx-3 wiht a good tranny for 750 are. i may see if the guy wiht the v6 that has nothing wrong with it will trade me for my car and 200 bucks. i only ...

thanks for the help man i appreciate it. is there anything else i can do other than turbo or swap to go a lil faster? i even tried unhooking a vaccum line at the throttle body to try to make it read lean so it would run richer and give me more fuel...

i went to the track again today and best out of 22 tries today i got a 18.413 @ 73.909 mph. MY slip read this:

i want to redo my exhaust and i kind of want it louder...so....what kind of sound was it producing ? lower tone or just junky sounding or what?

ive tried reading through all the post on the 4 cyl and i havent found a definitive answer to the question i have. will a 4cyl and 6 cyl atx tranny interchange? i know where a 6 cyl atx for $700 with a bad tranny is for sell. if they wont interchange anyone know where i could find a cheap one?
