I had the same problem man! I spent about 900-1000 dollars getting my mx-3 up and running again and that still didn't fix it! After awhile it just started to lose power and then one morning it just wouldn't start, i replaced the spark plugs even though they didn't need it and it still didn't work......

aww man that sucks... the car looks so darn fast but i guess you have to put tons of money in it to get like that... i had a chevy malibu classic '04 and it was faster then most cars and it was just stock... it had a ecotec 2.2 engine in it though... i could go from 0-60 in about 10 seconds or soone...

Yeah I'm going to be helping work on it, i'm pretty new to cars i only now how to do the easy things, but I'm learning from a friend how to do things. It would kill me if i took it into a shop... labor and all so i think its cheaper this way. As long as it gets back on the road and doesn't die on me...

So if the motor is overheated is it never going to be fixed unless i replace the whole thing? Or would the headgasket work any? Awhile back the radiator was shot and the car did overheat really bad the car died all the time, but before the radiator went out the car still died but only in the morning...
