KL-ZE & intake system
What are you guys running for an intake system with your KL-ZE? I'm thinking about fabrication a "home-made/custom" intake but was just wondering if anyone else had a better idea first.
Bye-the-way, I have the MS8 (curved neck) manifold.

axle removal...........what a biatch!!!!
Damn, what's with my drivers side axle. This is the second time that I have to remove it. The first time was because of the KL-ZE swap, but now it's because I have a bad oil seal.
The problem is that I've been trying for the life of me to get this thing out and nothing's working. I don't think it ...

What are the stock 1.8 tranny gear ratios? Where are you getting the 4.11's from?

Re: klze swap
You should do it yourself and have them friends of yours that have experience with swaps give you a hand. There's nothing like the personal satisfaction of driving around a "hybrid" in which you did yourself.

Re: KL-ZE 1/4mile times in MX-3
Traction is the name of the game with this setup.
I ran my buddy'd ITR and on my first and only run I got a 14.7.......moral of the story...those cars are easy to drive compared to our KL-ZE equiped MX-3's because of the much less torque they put out, which isn't that much of a bad thing.

Re: KL-ZE 1/4mile times in MX-3
Ah ok, that's more of what I expected. I'm wondering what kind of numbers I'll be putting out with the 2.5" exhaust and reprogrammed ecu? I'm expecting to see a bit more hp at a higher rpm (ecu), but probably slightly less torque because of the exhaust.
Thanks Dave ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: KL-ZE 1/4mile times in MX-3
Now is that with just a straight KL-ZE swap or is that with an intake, exhaust, underdrive pulley, engine work, etc...
I just need to know what I should be running with the stock KL-ZE setup. I may be wrong, but I could've sworn that there's someone on this board that ran a 14.1 with only a prm in...

KL-ZE 1/4mile times in MX-3
What are you guys getting for times? Some people say that they're in the mid 14's and others say they're in the mid 15's.....what should I be running with a KL-ZE in my 93 MX-3? Haven't had a chance to run it at the track yet cause I'm still performing some "tid-bit" mods here and there, b...
