As I said for the price of engine rebuild it's better to buy new engine or even whole mx-3. I'll just seal everything with silicone.

Yes, I had over-heat when my radiator broke down.

Where do I put silicone in the 2nd pic?

I had the same thing. Previous owner didn't take any care of it. In 12 years he only replaced rims

Thanks for the feedback, I've cleaned the engine and oil first appears on red arrows: http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/6180/oil1vf0.jpg Since engine rebuild is not an option I'll put silicone all over this binding (head gasket?) and tighten the screws if necessary. I'll also pour in oil additive f...

I did FEN and B+ and the result was the same as TEN and GND - all lights were constntly on and no flashing. It was said if there are no codes CEL would go away. I can only try with the engine on :?

If your not getting anything, and your CEL comes on, Take of your neg batterie cable, hold the brake for 20 seconds, then put it back on. That will clear your ecu. Now, go for a drive around or let it run for while. Then check for codes. I did that but all lights are still on (battery, oil and ligh...

Cel light newb

If anyone can refer me to section in manual or answer this about cel codes:

1. There are two GNDs. does it matter wich one I use?

2. When I jumped TEN and GND cel didn't go away or blink. It just stayed on along with oil and light.

I DON'T think oil comes from valve cover. Today I cleaned the oily parts and found oil on 2 spots: http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/83/oil2pn4dl6.jpg The left spot seems to come from the pipe above and I'm not sure how oil got on the right spot (maybe also from that pipe or that strange round scre...
