Funny charge light
Okay, so my charge light has become quite sporadic. sometimes when i'm driving, it stays off. more often though, it stays on at a low RPM, but will fade out at a higher rev. does this signify a slowly failing alternator? or maybe just a new belt? the car itself seems to run okay and i haven't had to...

Re: FPR control solenoid

Re: FPR control solenoid
ya know... i'm actually suspecting the same thing... i've heard about it. read about it, but not had to deal with it. that problem would indeed stop the car from firing up huh?

Re: FPR control solenoid

Re: FPR control solenoid
http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php?file=/1995%20Workshop%20Manual/F2/F2-120.gif PRC solenoid failure is highly unlikely to prevent the engine from starting - more than likely you got codes 2 & 5 - Crankshaft position sensor & knock sensor. oh one thing... a code 2 would be two rapid fl...

FPR control solenoid
okay, yesterday when i was going to work, my car wouldn't start, it was attempting to turn over and simply wouldn't... I've ruled out alternator / Battery and ignition, so i decided to run to Test ENgine to ground with the paperclip technique to see what was going on (after clearing out the codes by...

Re: Roll Call for Nor Cal
i don't think so, not enough people showed interest, or it was too short notice, or it was too far away. i'll try and organize another one next year, same date and all, so just keep checkin' in...

Re: Pre-swap!
so, an American probe mount would work fine? what kinda probe would i have to pull it out of? i don't want my engine to be crooked, so i'll defiantly go that route.

okay 707, i'll put you on the list, as of right now, i haven't gotten any actual confirmations, just some maybes. please let me know ASAP if you intend to go. So many things to do!
Okay... I've landed a KLZE (2fazed is selling me the short block and disty, alt. and the VAF) so basically, with work and school, i won't have time to do this swap for another year perhaps, due to the fact that I only have one mode of transportation. my dad gave me an idea and said to save up after ...
