I need a MAF sensor for my K8 and its a 1996 OBD2 and was wondering if they are all the same from different years and compatible with OBD1, or do i need to buy a specific one for OBD2?

I went and looked for it this morning, and ya know what, i believe ya man, you were right, i cant believe i never saw with all the lighting and stereo work ive done. I plugged in my OBDII code reader and found 3 DTCs for MAF IAC and EGR, so ive got some work to do when i get home from work today ...

you should send me a pic of what you connector on the car looks like. (doesn't have to be "your" connector but just a pic of the one like you have) to see if mine is the same.

that would be sweet but my car isn't OBDII, it doesn't have the 16 pin connector under the dash. it has the little box under the hood above the master cylinder.

i went and bought the leds and 1000 ohm resistors and made one up and it didnt even light up. i also noticed that in the FEN hole, there is not metal clip like the rest have.

i tried that just now using a led in ten to ground and it just lit solid - noo flash. i must be doing it wrong....
