It cranks = OK

12v (B+) at Fuel Injector Relay (B6S8) with Ignition Switch ON = OK

12v (B+) at ECU 1A (Batery) = OK

12v (B+) at B577 = NO!

12v (B+) at ECU 1B ( Fuel Inj. Relay) with Ignition Switch ON = NO!

I've replaced ECU (the one projectmx sent to me) but still the same


I've checked for power at B577 relay and nothing...

What could it be?

The ground wire to the valve cover is doing nothing there.

Any way I dont get the need of that sensor trick. Since you can run the richest the engine can by floor the acelerator. It's the TPS job...

That sensor is in VAF Module

Just don't do it... not good to engine health

one question, is there any difference between K8 ECU's besides the ones for ODBII ?

that's because I've seen many diferent numbers on them...

Because it doesn't "click" when I turn ignition ON.

I'm sorry jacked the thread with my problem on the 1st page. I read it so quickly I didn't notice it wasn't finished...

For your situation, I would sugest trying with an external coil before spend $$ on a new HEI.

There is no spark at all.

Fuel Relay is good (checked with 9v batery)

Smells fuel when crank.

I have unpluged the ECU and it cranks the same way as if ECU is plugged.

B577 relay doesn't click as used to be...
